Good ideia

What a great idea! I am loving the vibes here. The flip from left to right is awesome!

(+1)

好惊险刺激的小游戏XD

非常感谢!

(+1)

Cool

Great game! Did you use perspective or orthographic camera for Princess Paladin? Are the enemies and characters rotated a bit towards the camera?

(+1)

The camera is in perspective mode, and all sprites are rotated 30 backwards on the X axis. Similar to what some Nintendo games did I believe :)

(1 edit) (+1)

Thank you for your answer! I’m working on 2.5D rogue-like and I couldn’t get the right transform for the camera and sprites. I just started noticing this rotation method for the sprites on the shadows, but I wasn’t sure about it. I wish I had this info before 6 months, when I started working on my 2.5D style game (website). Thanks again and good luck for the GMTK 2024!

(+1)

this was made in unity 2d or 3d?

3D :D

(+1)

fun game

(+1)

I love this idea! What a fun iteration on the Vampire Survivors theme. All my ideas are just things that could be added on rather than criticisms of the original idea, which to me says you're on to something here.

(+2)

good asf, but i feel that would be waaaaaaaaay better if the weapons kinda upgraded together with the ammount of enemies, at least in range

(1 edit)

It's very great, but I don't know if it's only me, but when I use ctrl in the web version I lose focus of the game and I have to re click on it to get it back.

(+1)

The ax is the best, I don't touch that sword.

yup

Yeah i think axe is the best too.

(+2)

A good and unique game!

the gameplay is simple and interesting, it's like an arcade, no objetives or something, just to play the longest game.

i would love a full game with more content, lore and mechanics!

i'll give it a 9/10.

you should try it for killing some time!

(+1)

very fun game! Loved the twist on the survivor like genre.

(+1)

cute game! i rlly like princesses who fights typa shit character trope!

im bad at dodging... if only we have a way to extend the companion's hp

(+1)

This was pretty fun.  I really enjoyed this take on Survivors-like games where you're just the helper.

(1 edit) (+1)

It's a fun game, though there's not much you can do to extend survival time if you don't get enough health potion spawns.

(+2)

very cool, would love an extendet version:

ideas:

- more enemies of course

- a metaproression with abilities for the princessand you (unlock abilities, only limited amounts of abilities usable in the sae game) so you could have specific builds

- more weapons (maybe from the upside idea)

- a boss

(+1)

nice game, like it

(+1)

Love the concept and it looks great! The 'ice physics' are a bit too tricky for me though, but that might just be a skill issue on my part haha. Still a great little game!

(+2)

Awesome game! How did you make this 3d effect for a 2d game?

(+2)

O jogo em si é 3D.

Os personagens são planes 3D

(+2)

Thank you for this information! My next game will have this style, and I'm now looking for tutorials how to make it.

(1 edit) (+1)

Esse estilo é bem legal para um jogo.

Me lembra um pouco dont starve together

😊👍

Congrats on making top 20 in the GMTK Jam! I wanted to reach out to ask if anyone on the dev team would be interested in participating in an interview about your experience during the jam? Interviews are conducted over Discord and presented live on Twitch.

Hey, thanks for reaching out! Sounds interesting. I'm sure we can figure something out if you have a date and time in mind.

(+1)

Great! We can connect on Discord to discuss the details. My username is;

This take on "Protecting the princess" was Amazing! I came for the visual design, And stayed for the wonderful flipped mechanics!

(+1)

Love the concept ... idle survivor but you are not the hero! maybe add some upgrade  ?

Amazing game and concept !  Noticed that items don't spawn near the border of the map. Also found a bug where sometimes you can't pick anything even after launching a new game, but no ideas how it happened
