Casa Acacia
A downloadable game for Windows
Looking for a relaxing game like Animal Crossing or Stardew Valley to escape these exciting times, but on a tight budget? Look no further! In Casa Acacia you simply create a character, choose the perfect tree for you and start decorating it! On your adventures you can gather building materials and blueprints that unlock new building options!
Controls:
Arrow keys to move and jump
At home: Hold 1 for menu, hold 2 to build
In the wild: Press 1 to chop wood, press 2 to collect materials
Features I'm hoping to implement in the future:
Gamepad support
Xbox Controller support
Different enemies
More "events" to encounter (puzzle/platforming levels)
Stats visible in character selection menu
Mobile version (Android first)
Local multiplayer
Open for more suggestions
Donations would of course help towards implementing these features, but no pressure! This is supposed to be a zen experience after all!

I'm liking this game, so thank you for making it available! It really is relaxing, and the collection mechanics are simple enough to do without thinking too hard but involved enough to avoid being monotonous-- Perfect for something simple and fun! Choosing the right tree-shape is surprisingly satisfying and I'm currently collecting materials and trying different builds. I wouldn't call any of them pretty, exactly, but I'm having fun building them!
I also enjoy the little background details, like how you can only collect the glass/metal in the foreground of the crashed rocket, which really makes you wonder how the player-character wound up there in the first place...
Hey Emberfell! Thanks for your lovely review, it means a lot! I'm curious to see what your tree will end up looking like, so send me a pic if and when you feel like it!
